About – Fatimah Ayoade

Fatimah graduated from the British School of Osteopathy (now the Health Science University) in 2015.

Since 2018 Fatimah has worked as a Practice Educator in the HSU – UCO School of Osteopathy clinic setting for both the undergraduate and postgraduate programs, alongside being a Patient care practitioner in the academic setting; incorporating both technical and clinical knowledge to years 2 onwards to aid them in their osteopathic journey and development.

After completing and graduating from the Specialist Paediatric course in 2018, Fatimah continues to work within the paediatric field, supported by regular cpd.

Having worked in several multidisciplinary practices since graduating it has been important for Fatimah to promote osteopathy and all it has to offer. She has a keen interest in the temporal mandibular joint, integration of different osteopathic modalities and promoting health.

Her previous skills and degrees around Biomedical sciences have also played a part in her overall development and interest in patients’ health and recovery. Overall mechanics and movement are important to Fatimah and she evaluates individuals as a whole, using a holistic approach. She uses a integrated approach to treating – utilising structural, fascial, cranial as well as ligamentous balancing techniques.

Fatimah now feels that the time is right to impart some of the knowledge and skills she has integrated over the years to aid the next generation of osteopaths via different settings and mediums.
